Group Lease PLC Announces Free Transportation for Late King’s Royal cremation ceremony.
‘GL employees and customers work together for our beloved king.’

Group Lease Public Company Limited and its subsidiary Thanaban Company Limited has announced that it will provide free transportation around Samean NareeTemple which is one of the main venue for Royal Funeral and Cremation ceremony to serve the public and help them to pay their respect to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Group Lease PCL will organize the project “Tum Dee Puer Por”(Do good for our beloved father) to provide free transportation service for public on the date of 26 Oct 2017. Company will set up 3 pickup points; Bon Marché market, Prachaniwet Stadium and Klong Prem Central Prison. Company announced that 209(Two hundred and ‘nine’) motorcycle riders will volunteer on the day. Riders will consist of 100 company’s employees and more than 100 professional motorcycle taxi drivers, a major customer of the company’s business. The Company will sponsor all the motorcycle drivers on that day.
“It will be a great opportunity for the company and the employees to work together with customers for the welfare of the public. So, there will be additional 107 employees who will work as a service volunteers to facilitate the activities”. said the COO of the company Mr. Muneo Tashiro. Group Lease PLC’s strategic partners, AP Honda Co., Ltd. and Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and motorcycle dealers, partners will also cooperate in this event.  The transportation service will start from 7:30 am until 6:00pm.

Group Lease Public Company Limited as a part of its CSR initiatives has awarded scholarships to 28 students for the 2017-2018 academic year.Recipients of scholarship ranged from pre -primary school, high school to university level students and were selected on basis of academic merit.

On the occasion Mr. Mutsuji Konoshita, the chairman of the Group Lease Public Company Limited praised all the scholars for their achievements and urged them to dream big and to keep pursuing their dreams.

The scholarship award comprised of tuition fees support and stationeries for all the awardees. Since its  inception in 2007, the company has bestowed scholarships to many students and will continue to provide such scholarships in upcoming academic years.

GL FINANCE Cambodia (GLF) and Korean Software HRD Center (KSHRD) have reinforced their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purpose of developing IT innovations and awareness in Cambodia and the global market.

GL FINANCE Cambodia offers opportunities to the young and quality IT professionals to join its dedicated team to be the leading digital finance provider. Concerning with this, GLF organized an IT Programming Contest within the company in order to bring more chances for the young IT professionals to show their own initiative and new innovation for the development of the company. At the same time, the top winners got exciting prizes, and the runners up received the certificate of participation as well. Interestingly, most of the top contestants are from KSHRD providing immense service in training quality IT professionals.

Mr. Mitsuji Konoshita, the chairman of GLF Cambodia said that “GLF not only contributes to the economic development, but also upgrades the potential human resource in information technology (IT) innovation in Cambodia”.
